post 11: how I completed my project or worked out a solution to the problem you had.

   Most of the time you do things, and this things bring you to small problems, that easily can be solved. For example, when I was doing this project there were some questions that I couldn't understand and I didn't know what to do to I ask my English teacher Mr. Acevedo to give me some tools that I could use so I could understand better this project and I was following that and i did it, so my project was getting better. So one strategy I used was skip some post and move on to the next one . Then I ask Mr. Acevedo to explain to me, and when he explain to me I used to do it and the I posted it. Another problem I had was writing 250 words for each post. Every time I was writing a post, I had to count how many words I had, so it was hard for me to do that.

After creating all these post, choose my favorite interest. For now I only have two interest which are be which my family and then be with my friend. The order it goes is be with my family, because my family is the best thing I have which means that when I'm with my family I can be safe because I know there is always someone there  for me when I need help or when I need something. Then come my friends. Friends are important but not that important like family.  I say this because when you with friends and something happens to you they there but after the minute. However, When you with your family they there since they see something happen to you. Also when you around friends firsts they laugh and then they help you. But family think you the first thing in their live. I agree that most of the time some families doesn't care about what happen to the others members of their family but my families have a exception.

Post 9: my favorite interests.

Most of the time you have a favorite interest and sometimes you don't. However I have one that is being with my family and friends. I say this because when I'm around my family and friends I feel good because I feel happy. I also think that my family is the best thing I have because most of the time when something bad happens to me the first ones there are my family members. I say most of the times because sometimes there are families that don’t care about what happen to their other family members. But my family has an exception. Because they really care about what happen to each other’s and each one of us. About friends that's also something special because most of the time when you have no family you have friends that they always there when you need them. This means that if you do the same thing your and their relationship will be good. I say this thing because I have seen and experience this situation before I have pass through this before.

Post 8: when I'm ___________, I lose track of time and don't want anyone or anything to disturb me. :)

Something I like to do is sleep. So when I'm sleeping I lose track of time and don't want anyone or anything to disturb me. Because I think that when I sleep I can rest my body. This means that when I get back home from school I get home tire so when I get there I take a shower and I go strait to my bed. Then 1 hour later I wake up and start doing homework or I start doing my projects for school. I like to sleep because Sleep makes me feel better. Also, because I think that sleeping have some advantages like the followings: Good sleep is a healthy and vibrant heart and the body that reduces inflammation in your stress, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure and chronic diseases such as cancer causes. Additionally, sleep the body reduces the level of stress hormones. This is to help the body fight against and promote regeneration of cells and organ. 

Post 7: The magazine selection when I'm in school library or bookstore.

When I'm in a magazine section in my school library or in a bookstore I like to read funny magazines or book because I like to laugh. Also because I think that when you in a good moon you have everybody as your friend. I also like funny book because if I'm sad and I start reading funny books or magazines I start laughing and I forget about what happened. Additionally if I go to a library or a book store I will also choose a technology book or magazine. Because I like to know what going on with the technology. Also because what to do I start inventing stuff that come out of nowhere and I use these stuff for myself. 

Post 6: My favorite subject in school.

In school we have different subject, but most of the time we have a favorite subject. In my case my favorite subject is Global History because I think that in Global History I learn thing that happened in the pass. Also you learn about other country. For example in my Global History class we have learned about Egypt, Rome, Greece, Mesopotamia and other places. We also learned about religion like Buddhism, Christianism, Islam and more religions. Also we learned about how these religion spread around the world in the Middle Ages. Additionally we look at pictures and watch movies that explain how that happens. Also we learn about evolution in the people. This means how they change from the middle ages to now. About Rome we learned how it fell and a new empire was created called the Byzantine Empire.

Post 5: Things I like to do when I got free time.

Sometimes we have free time, and we do different stuff. However, I like to do different activities like the followings, when I get out of school I go to JROTC practice, and we do drill and pt which means marching and physical training. When I practice I also help people in my platoon, which are the people in JROTC. After I get out of practice I take the bus to go home, then I take the train. When I get home I say "Hi" to my mentor which is my mother. Then I shower and go out to play with my friends and family member. After that my mentor calls me to eat, and then I go to bed and wake up the next day to go to school. I thing this is a interesting time send because I study and have fun which means is good because that means that I’m learning but a the same time I’m having fun. I like how in school we do different activities. For example in 8th period we do free writing with +Carlos Acevedo which is my English teacher, we also do JROTC practice Tuesday and Thursday in 7th period. So that’s what I basically so in my free time.

Post 4: Someone from my family social cicle who I feel is a mentor.

Someone from my family social circle who I feel is a mentor my mom. I choose this member of my family social circle because my mom is the people who motivate me to look forward. I also choose this person because I see how she cares about me and how much she care about the thing I do and how healthy I am. When I was litter I used to live in Dominican Republic. And I learned a lot of different things from my mom. From my mom I learned thing such as how to be responsible, how to read and write and others things. So I want to say thanks to her because she also teaches me education. Thanks to her I'm in the United State. And now I have a good family because she help that family grow with education and healthy. When I graduated from middle school she was there to support me. And after that I learned that she will always be there when I need help. And that I will always be on her side when she needs me. I have applied many advised that she have given me in my life. For example, when I was litter I used to do bad things to my friends. But she talked to me and I say "ok mom" and i stopped doing that, because I was thinking about what she told me and I realized she was right. So I told myself that I wouldn’t like someone to do that to me. :)

Post 3: A diculty member from MACS who I feel is a mentor.

Most of the time we have someone specific in one place that we think is a mentor. However, Morris Academy for Collaborative Studies (MACS). I have a mentor, which is a man named Sergeant First Class Timberlake. I choose this faculty member because I think he teaches me a lot in my life. For example, the first time I came to MACS he was the one that teach me how to read the schedule. After that I heard that he had a JROTC program. So I thought that was a good program so I joined. Then he teaches me how to drill. After I went to my first drill competition (which is marching) then I became a cadet sergeant. After that I went to a competition called raiders. At raiders competition we do push-up, sit-ups 4.5 mile run and we also do first aid. Also before we used to do land navigation. So now thanks to sergeant Timberlake now I know how to do all these stuff. And because of all my hard work I became commander for armed exhibition, raider’s b-team, and I'm also the first platoon leader. Additionally I got promoted to a second lieutenant.

post 2: What is a fictional character that i have learned from and why i choose this character.

          Most of the time we read books and this book has characters that teach us different stuff. For example in the book titled "Secret in the Shadows" the main character's name is Roylin. I learned a lot of things from him. I choose this character because I feel that when I read this book the book is directly talking to me. I feel that this book teaches me that you can never steal. Because Roylin stole for love and then he was thinking about that because he thought that the person he stole money to was dead. Because his bad friend told him that he died because Roylin stole his money. But in reality he wasn't dead. He was taken to a place where they have old people because he was old. Which means that he teaches me that when you steal that is always going to stay in your mind and is not going to come out. Additionally, I think I can apply this lesson because now people steal and I know that's not good. This means I will never do that in my life.

post 1:What does the word mentor mean to me. Describe someone that you consider mentor.

          I think the work Mentor means someone who look out for you. This means someone who cares about your future. That person can be in your family, friend or teachers. In my case is my mother. I say this because she really cares about my future. She’s a person that I really want to say thanks to. Thanks to her I’m on high school. That mentor is so special because I can be successful if I follow her. If I follow the good steps she teaches me in the future I can copy her and be like her. And because she’s my mentor I trust her and I can talk to her about what’s going on with me and what’s going on in my school so she can give me some ideas of what’s happening. The word mentor fix correctly with her because she’s the one that motivate me do I can wake up every day and come to school also she’s the one that motivate me to continue going to school. Because there is people that because their mother doesn't motivate them they don’t go to schools when the grow up they don’t have a profession because didn't go to college.
