Post 15: How has refflecting on my mentors, interest, and skill helped me understand my personal legend!

  

After reflecting on my mentors and interest, now I know what my personal legend is thanks to my mentors everyday they help me realize it. My mentors are in school and home. Also when I'm home she always make sure I do everything I got to do so in the future I can graduate and go to college also have a good perfection. About my mentor in school he always make sure I do my projects and stuff and if I need help with something he will help me. I want to say thanks to my mom and to Sergeant First class Timberlake. The best thing about mentors is that they always positive so when you need them they always there for you. Also a mentor is someone you can trust which means that you can share your experiences with them. thanks to them now I know that my personal legend is graduate from college and have a good profession and make my mom happier than what she is now.

Post 14: How did things go.

After I learned English I graduate from Middle School and move on to high school. In high school I started talking English and I got better than before. When I started talking English there were some words that I still didn’t know so I searched up and leaned the definition. Thanks to god everything is going like I expected and now I know that when I go to work the door is going to be open for me because I know English and I know Spanish which means that know I’m bilingual. I also think that the language I speak (English and Spanish) are the most spoken languages in the United State. Something else that went the way I expected was going to the store, because before I couldn’t buy anything because I didn’t know how to speak English. However now I know I can go to store and buy whatever I want because now I know English and he (the store owner) can understand what I’m saying.  One way I knew my English was getting better was because I went to the middle school I was before, then I started talking English to the 8^th grade student and my last English teacher say that she liked my improvement. Then I learned that you can never give up! because evrything is possible.  

Post 13: Something that made solving my problem difficult. How did I over come that problem. and the time it took.

Most of the time you do stuff or you want to solve some problems. Something that made solving my problem difficult was going to school in the summer so I could learn new stuff and I could learn more. However I learned a lot because thanks to my teacher now I know how to speak better English. Something else that made solving my problem difficult was be a wake when everybody was sleeping and go to bed at 1:00 or 2:00 in the night and then waking up at 6:00 o'clock in the morning. This means that I didn’t have a good sleep. Besides that sometime when I used to talk English with my friends they used to laugh so I used to feel ashamed because I thought that I was saying the wrong word.  I overcome these obstacles by working harder than what I used to work. Then I learned English in about 7 month. Then I was talking with my friends and family members. After that I moved on to high school and thanks to god and my hard work now I know how to speak a better English that the English I speak before....

post 12: The problem I were trying to solve

  Sometimes life knocks you on your ass... get up, get up!!! Happiness is not the absence of problems; it's the ability to deal with them. At age of 12 I migrate to the United States where I face many problems. One of the biggest problems I face was that I didn't know how to speak English and because I didn't know I felt isolated. one day where I went to a store and wanted to buy something to eat, but because I didn't know what the owner trying to  tell me I couldn't bought it. One day I sit on my bed and talking to my mother and I realize that I really have to put all my enforce to learn English. The way I solved this problem was by going to school and trying my best, also coming home and studying. I remember all those night when everybody was sleeping and I was still up wake trying to learn new words, also trying to memorize the alphabet. Additionally, when everybody was on vacation I stay in school with my teacher. She was a helpful teacher where she used to help with anything I needed help with. I still remember the quote that she told me “never give up because we all come to this country to have a better future” and she also told me to remember that martin Luther king had a dream.

post 11: how I completed my project or worked out a solution to the problem you had.

   Most of the time you do things, and this things bring you to small problems, that easily can be solved. For example, when I was doing this project there were some questions that I couldn't understand and I didn't know what to do to I ask my English teacher Mr. Acevedo to give me some tools that I could use so I could understand better this project and I was following that and i did it, so my project was getting better. So one strategy I used was skip some post and move on to the next one . Then I ask Mr. Acevedo to explain to me, and when he explain to me I used to do it and the I posted it. Another problem I had was writing 250 words for each post. Every time I was writing a post, I had to count how many words I had, so it was hard for me to do that.

After creating all these post, choose my favorite interest. For now I only have two interest which are be which my family and then be with my friend. The order it goes is be with my family, because my family is the best thing I have which means that when I'm with my family I can be safe because I know there is always someone there  for me when I need help or when I need something. Then come my friends. Friends are important but not that important like family.  I say this because when you with friends and something happens to you they there but after the minute. However, When you with your family they there since they see something happen to you. Also when you around friends firsts they laugh and then they help you. But family think you the first thing in their live. I agree that most of the time some families doesn't care about what happen to the others members of their family but my families have a exception.

Post 9: my favorite interests.

Most of the time you have a favorite interest and sometimes you don't. However I have one that is being with my family and friends. I say this because when I'm around my family and friends I feel good because I feel happy. I also think that my family is the best thing I have because most of the time when something bad happens to me the first ones there are my family members. I say most of the times because sometimes there are families that don’t care about what happen to their other family members. But my family has an exception. Because they really care about what happen to each other’s and each one of us. About friends that's also something special because most of the time when you have no family you have friends that they always there when you need them. This means that if you do the same thing your and their relationship will be good. I say this thing because I have seen and experience this situation before I have pass through this before.
